Energy Management For An Academic Campus – A Case Study
This paper introduces an energy management system (EMS) at an academic campus in Egypt by utilizing the audit system which works to track all available systems and explore all the loopholes through which the efficiency of those systems can be increased, saving the energy consumed, and reach ideal consumption., EMS includes an application to all energy-consuming systems within the university, which works to achieve a comprehensive vision of the consumption of those systems and how to manage them to achieve optimal use of them and ensure their sustainability in an effective manner that achieves gains at all levels therefore, consumption is reduced and costs are reduced with clarification and analysis of the actual consumption of all systems before managing the energy consumed from them and after introducing modifications that work to reduce consumption, with clarification through a comparison table. It also makes all the systems into a small circle that you can watch and control. It makes the project of building clean buildings easier, which leads to creating a clean environment free of carbon emissions, thus achieving the trend of countries building modern cities.
