Modeling of a Hybrid Thermal Photovoltaic Collector (PVT) Based on Thin Film Solar Cells Based on CIS
This study investigates the performance of a PVT (Photovoltaic-Thermal) collector utilizing CIS (Copper Indium Selenide) thin-film solar cells under simulated sunlight. CIS thin film solar cells are renowned for their efficiency and stability in diverse environmental conditions. By integrating these cells into a PVT collector, the system can produce electricity from sunlight and utilize heat energy for various purposes. This study presents a model of a hybrid thermal photovoltaic collector based on CIS thin film solar cells using Comsol 5.4 software. The results show a maximum temperature of 95°C and a fluid flow velocity of 0.00275 m/s of this PVT collector based on CIS.
