Industry-University Collaboration Enhanced by New Automated Driving Technologies
This paper explores several case studies of successful collaboration between universities and Aptiv Technical Center Krakow, focusing on innovations in automated driving technologies. The case studies are drawn from the project titled “Development of innovative technologies in the field of active safety, which will be used in advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving systems intended for mass production”, funded by the European Union's Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014–2020. Through these examples, the paper highlights the critical role of industry-academic partnerships in accelerating technological innovation and bridging the gap between research and real-world applications.
