Interactive Visual Analysis of a Set of Indicators for Monitoring the Quality of Education at TUKE

The aim of the study is to design, implement and evaluate an information system for interactive visualization of performance indicators in the university environment of the Technical University in Kosice (TUKE). The proposed system enables interactive display of aggregated data with the possibility of filtering at different levels of the hierarchy of the faculty, departments and study programs. It provides a graphically engaging interface tailored for ease of use that allows access to perspectives that are usually inaccessible to ordinary users. The system also offers additional information on indicators, while all summary data are available in one place. It was evaluated by a user study that showed that it is intuitive and easy to use and achieved a good user rating.
