Cybersecurity through Practical Applications

This research primarily focuses on enhancing the Security Management course at the Technical University of Kosice through the development of innovative, practical exercises,ˇ while also analyzing cybersecurity audit compliance, particularly concerning the legislative requirements of selected European Union member states with an emphasis on the NIS Directive. Following this, a comparative analysis of next-generation firewall solutions is conducted. The exercises of the Security Management course are presented in an interactive format, featuring a few tasks for individual solutions. These are accessible on the course's website and have undergone practical testing during the winter semester of the academic year 2023. The invaluable feedback obtained during this testing phase serves to refine deficiencies and inspire future advancements in the field.
