VishGuard: Defending Against Vishing
Vishing and smishing attacks, or voice phishing attacks, are a type of social engineering attack in which attackers use voice communication channels, such as phone calls or text messages, to trick victims into divulging sensitive information or performing actions that compromise their security. Vishing attacks have become increasingly common and sophisticated in recent years and have had severe consequences for individuals, businesses, and organizations. In this review, we introduce VishGuard, a comprehensive framework designed to detect and mitigate vishing attacks using advanced natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning techniques. VishGuard leverages Python and Streamlit to create a multi-functional application capable of analyzing and processing voice data to identify potential vishing threats.
