A Model-Driven Approach to QoS Configuration: Implementing and Evaluating a RESTCONF-Based Controller for Flying Drones
This work presents a model-driven approach to managing the configuration of Quality of Service (QoS) on networking devices. The study includes an analysis of several mechanisms, models, and tools with their Command Line Interface (CLI) configuration, and the design and implementation of a controller. This controller allows users, particularly students, to manage QoS through a graphical interface while using YANG Models and the RESTCONF protocol. The controller was tested in multiple Quality of Service scenarios, and its graphical interface was evaluated for effectiveness. This study highlights the growing importance of QoS management across diverse environments. from flying drones and IoT infrastructures to traditional network systems.
