Education on Real Devices Through Remote Access
The significant advancements in the development and utilization of ICT are also bringing changes to education. Through devices connected to the internet, access to geographically distant laboratories is possible. On one hand, this means making education accessible to groups of people who might otherwise not have the opportunity to learn, but on the other hand, it introduces new challenges in terms of both technical and methodological support for teaching. To support innovative education, this article presents a remote laboratory created at the Department of Information Networks, Faculty of Management Science and Informatics, University of Zilina (KIS, FRI UNIZA),ˇ which enables education on real devices through remote access. The fundamental prerequisite for such teaching is the creation of suitable conditions for the implementation of education.
