Research on the behavior of the technological complex of a sugar factory using wavelet analysis methods

The purpose of this article is to justify the use of wavelet analysis methods for modeling the dynamics of time series of technological variables that characterize the multifaceted behavior of the technological complex of a sugar factory as a complex control object. The wavelet transform generates a type of set of properties that characterize the current state of the control object. The time series of the main technological variables of the technological complex of the sugar factory were analyzed: steam consumption, juice consumption, chip consumption, temperature, juice pH.In the analysis of time series characterizing the behavior of sugar production processes, different types of wavelets were used: Gau (Gauss), Morl (Morle), Mhat (Mexican hat). The wavelet transformation of the signal was provided using the Matlab mathematical package.During the analysis of the time series of consumption of limestone milk, the area of sharp emissions (surges) is highlighted, which provides diagnostics of anomalies in the analysis of situations. In the time series of diffusion juice consumption, the non-stationarity of the control object is established, which occurs at certain time intervals, which allows for the possibility of establishing specific estimates of non-stationarity in both qualitative and quantitative aspects. In the time series of the temperature of the diffusion juice, periodicities in the behavior are determined, and the wavelet spectrogram of the signal indicates the presence of existing high-frequency noises, as well as their frequency spectrum is determined. The use of wavelet analysis provides effective processing and forecasting of non-stationary time series of technological control objects of various types. The results of wavelet analysis with the establishment of their features allow specialists to conduct a more complete and correct interpretation of the behavior of complex control objects and to develop effective management solutions based on them.
