New Strategy NATO kontra mezinárodní právo

The current NATO strategy contradicts the basic principle of international law, i.e. state sovereignty. International humanitarian law thus applies only to combatants in warfare. Consequently, it does not refer to contractors, who represent the privatization of armed forces. Everybody who gets involved in a war conflict, either directly or just through cover or support, becomes, however, its participant.

Abstract

The current NATO strategy contradicts the basic principle of international law, i.e. state sovereignty. International humanitarian law thus applies only to combatants in warfare. Consequently, it does not refer to contractors, who represent the privatization of armed forces. Everybody who gets involved in a war conflict, either directly or just through cover or support, becomes, however, its participant.
