Controlling six beam interference pattern shape of variable wavelength laser using spatial light modulator
In this study, the phase difference between six interference beams was controlled using a Spatial Light Modulator (SLM), and the interference pattern was manipulated via a PC. The interference patterns were generated using an Optical Parametric Oscillator (OPO) with a wavelength range of 620 to 680 nm. When no phase difference was applied, the interference patterns remained identical to those observed without the SLM across all wavelengths. Conversely, when a phase difference was introduced to each of the six beams, the measured interference patterns closely matched the simulation results. This outcome confirmed the effectiveness of the method for controlling interference patterns using an SLM.
