Design of Conformal Flexible Monopole Antenna with Corrugated Structures for Lower Band Sub 6GHz Applications

This paper provides an investigation of a monopole antenna that possesses two key characteristics: it is compact in size and highly effective in terms of performance. It offers wide-ranging connectivity for communication purposes, including Wireless Fidelity Wi-Fi (3.1 GHz) and Wireless Local Area Network WLAN (5.5 GHz) the designed model can operate in the sub-band 6-GHz band. To attain this, we designed 4 different antennas with different cuts of patch. It is constructed out of 28 x 28 x 1.6 mm commercially available FR4 material and presents the results of modeling with optimization based on electromagnetic simulation. From the current designs, basic antenna-1 radiates at dual frequencies 3.4 GHz & 4.8 GHz. Antenna -2 radiates at triband of frequencies 3.2 GHz, 4.8 GHz & 6.4 GHz. Antenna - 4 radiates at dual frequencies 4.8 GHz & 6.8 GHz. Antenna -4 at 6.8 GHz.
