Proyectar las periferias metropolitanas: hacia un catálogo de propuestas académicas para la zona sur de la ciudad de Córdoba

This work constitutes a partial progress of the project Peri-urban Territories. Plans, practices, and projects in the territorial construction of the South Zone of the city of Córdoba, which aims to understand the impact of peri-urbanization and metropolization on the southern periphery of Córdoba. Based on the importance of academic work and the multi-scalarity of the territory, two instances are proposed: the selection, compilation, and systematization of works by students of the course Urbanism IIB (FAUD-UNC) according to the "urban-territorial systems" addressed with greater emphasis in each case; and the creation of a catalog of projects at the territorial scale. The objectives of this work are, on the one hand, to identify design criteria to address the urban challenges of the southern periphery of Córdoba; and on the other hand, to constitute an analytical-propositional instrument to integrate it into the teaching and practice of urban planning in the local context. Este trabajo constituye un avance parcial del Proyecto Consolidar Territorios periurbanos. Planes, prácticas y proyectos en la construcción territorial de la Zona Sur de la ciudad de Córdoba cuyo objetivo es comprender el impacto de la periurbanización y metropolización en la periferia sur de Córdoba. A partir de entender la relevancia de los trabajos académicos y la multiescalaridad del territorio se plantean dos instancias: la selección, recopilación y sistematización de trabajos de alumnos de la Cátedra Urbanismo II B (FAUD UNC) según los “sistemas urbanos-territoriales” abordados con mayor énfasis en cada caso y la conformación de un catálogo de proyectos de escala territorial. Los objetivos del presente trabajo son, por un lado, identificar criterios proyectuales para asumir los desafíos urbanos de la periferia sur de Córdoba; y por el otro, constituir un instrumento analítico-propositivo para integrarlo a la enseñanza y a la práctica del urbanismo en el contexto local.
