WCN25-2496 TO STUDY THE AMBULATORY BLOOD PRESSURE MONITORING PROFILE IN END STAGE KIDNEY DISEASE PATIENTS ON MAINTENANCE HAEMODIALYSIS WITH SLEEP DISTURBANCES
End stage kidney disease (ESKD) patients on haemodialysis exhibit altered circadian rhythm of melatonin in blood leading to sleep disturbances. Recent studies show that Loss of normal nocturnal decline in blood pressure is usually associated with increased risk of cardiovascular complications and poor renal outcomes. This can only detected by Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) Very less attention paid to quality of life/sleep disturbances in ESKD patients.
