Influences of Various Sowing Dates and Organic Sources Nutrient on Yield and Nutrient Uptake of Canola (Brassica napus L.)
A field experiment was conducted to study the effect of different sowing dates and organic sources nutrient on the growth and yield of Canola (Brassica napus L.) Under Irrigated conditions in Dehradun, Uttarakhand during the rabi season of 2020-21 and 2021-22 in the Agronomy Farm of S. G. R. R. University. The treatments were laid in randomized block design with 3 replications of each treatment and the mustard seeds were used as Canola (Gobhi Sarson) and was sown at the seed rate of 4-5 kg/ha. Observations were recorded at pre-harvest stage and post-harvest and analyzed statistically. All the treatments showed better responses to growth and yield attributes against control. Among the various treatments T12 (04th November + Organic Sulfur + Azotobacter +PSB + Sulfur Solubilizing Bacteria) proved superior with increased plant height, dry matter accumulation, grain yield, and stover yield. The treatment T12 recorded significantly higher nutrient uptake and the lowest was recorded in T1. .
