Cirugía de rescate tras fracaso de trapecectomía por colapso del primer metacarpiano. A propósito de un caso.
Trapecectomy associated with ligamentous reconstruction is the most widely used technique for the treatment of trapezio-metacarpal osteoarthritis. Despite the high success and satisfaction rate of this technique, it sometimes fails and represents a surgical challenge for the orthopedic surgeon. The main cause of revision is pain due to the collapse of the first metacarpal over the scaphoid. Surgical options are multiple without a consensus on the best technique to salvage this complication.
