ATMOSPHERIC DEGRADATION OF METHYL GLYCOLATE

This study presents the atmospheric degradation of methyl glycolate, a semivolatile compound used in the industry. Its rate coefficient with Cl atoms and hydroxyl radicals, photooxidation products, and reaction mechanism were determined. Atmospheric implications of its emissions are presented.
