Approvisionnement responsable : Un défi de gestion durable de la chaîne logistique pour les industries agroalimentaires de la région de Ségou

The industrial sector in general and the agri-food branch in particular is today challenged to fully play its role in order to meet the environmental and development challenges facing Mali. The challenge for the agri-food industry in the Ségou region consists in reconciling the search for profit and the choice of actions favorable to the protection of the environment and the principles of sustainable development. We conducted this research in order to analyze the obstacles to the adoption of responsible sourcing in the supply chain of the agri-food industries of Segou. Using an inductive approach based on convenience sampling, we conducted our survey via a semi directive interview guide with 56 agri-food units. The results of our study show that the practice of responsible sourcing is still in an embryonic stage. Key-words: Responsible Sourcing, Sustainability, Life Cycle Assessment
