State Sovereignty in the System of Decentralized Payment Systems
Preserving state sovereignty in the development of cryptocurrencies as the newest form of money is extremely important in the context of the extremely dynamic development of digital technologies. Regulation of cryptocurrency and virtual currency has become a national security issue. Thus, the lack of crypto regulation leads, as a rule, to the use of cryptocurrencies in the shadow economy. Full-fledged crypto regulation can significantly hinder innovative development, primarily in the financial and economic sphere. Therefore, the problem of developing decentralized payment systems in the digital economy of the 21st century is closely interconnected with the need to preserve state sovereignty.
