LEISURE AND CONTEMPLATION IN PHILOSOPHICAL OUTLOOK AND IN RELATIONSHIP WITH THE URBAN PLANNING ENVIRONMENT
This article is devoted to how representatives of different philosophical schools have approached the notions of leisure and contemplation in different ways. Philosophers of different epochs have explored the relevance of this question. In the history of philosophy, leisure is considered as one of the conditions for the origin of philosophy. This approach is considered to be the basis of social philosophy. However, at the same time, many thinkers broke the connection between leisure and philosophy and studied leisure as a separate phenomenon, epiphenomenon. The influence of aesthetic contemplation in its relationship with the environment in the context of the resort city as a prototype of the ancient leisure city is also examined. The main issues are the filling and content as well as the quality of the built environment. The impact of physical, social, economic, cultural and other characteristics of the urban environment on human beings always emerges comprehensively in the process of consideration. At the same time, the appearance, or visual component, of the environment is of increasing interest to researchers.
