The present study takes effort to determining the research performance of the journal of Scientometrics during 2000Scientometrics during to 2006. .This study corresponds to an assessment of citation analysis and recency pattern of citations in published records in this journal. This kind of study used technique whether called scientometrics, bibliometrics or by any other metric studies has now-a-days become a standard basis of classifying, mapping and assessing journals.
