Design and Performance Analysis of Origami Based Reconfigurable Hexagonal Flasher Antenna
This article presents design, and performance evaluation of an Origami based reconfigurable hexagonal flasher antenna. The proposed antenna structure offers significant advantages in terms of compactness, flexibility, and reconfigurability. Specifically, the hexagonal flasher configuration allows for two folding states, enabling dynamic adjustments in the antenna parameters such as frequency, radiation pattern, and polarization. This versatility is achieved through strategic folding and unfolding of origami patterns. The experimental results show that the designed antenna demonstrates a resonant frequency of 1175MHz and 890MHz in the folded and unfolded state, respectively.
