High Gain, Improve Isolation UWB MIMO Antenna inspired by Metasurface for Wireless Application

This work offers a MIMO antenna optimized for UWB application, featuring high gain and effective isolation that is lightweight, small, and inspired by metasurfaces. To improve overall performance, two identical radiators are arranged in parallel in the MIMO antenna design. We use a defective ground feature to improve impedance matching and bandwidth enhancement. A decagon-shaped unit cell absorber is used in the implementation of a metasurface isolation system, and it is then incorporated into the center of the defective ground. Up to 25 dB of considerable isolation is achieved using Metasurface. peak gain is 7.9 dBi at 7 GHz, the antenna's broad operational bandwidth of 2 GHz to 18.8 GHz makes it appropriate for use in UWB wireless applications. This metasurface aids in improving the MIMO antenna's gain, Size optimization, and isolation. gain enhancement is demonstrated through comparison with previous history. The recommended antenna offers a 94.7% efficiency. a total of four frequencies of 6 GHz, 8.9 GHz, 11.2 GHz, and 13.4 GHz are used for resonance. Applications like WPAN, RADAR, and Location tracking systems, WBAN are a good fit for this MIMO metasurface antenna.
