Design and Simulation of Multi slots MIMO antenna for 5G and beyond

This paper proposes and studies the design and simulation of advanced antennas for 5G and beyond. The new era of 5G and beyond will help connect most of the existing devices and create a balance between systems and users based on technology and needs. This requires wide bandwidth and better gain. Therefore, the microwave frequency range of 30 to 60 GHz has been investigated for the field beyond 5G, so the potential of both can be obtained here. FR4 is used as a low-frequency and high-efficiency substrate, while copper is used as the material to form a multi slots MIMO antenna to achieve high gain. Complete the model simulations using CST Microwave Studio. The results for this design are 23.5dBi, 23.8dBi, 23.6dBi, 23.6dBi for all four ports excited separately or simultaneously. The S11 parameter for the 52GHz frequency is -40.1dB. A similar method has been used to simulate a single multi slots antenna configuration with a gain of 18.8dBi. Several research papers discuss the evolution of the technology beyond 5G. The pros and cons of the designs are also discussed. The bandwidth has been increased from 4GHz to 4.2GHz. As with many of the models discussed in section 1 and 2, the innovation in this paper is the ease of design, ease of fabrication, reduced losses due to the lack of slots, and availability of materials and basic equipment.
