A Multi-Pulse Signal Coherent Fusion Method for Hypersonic Manoeuvring Aircraft Detection in PRT-Agile Bistatic Radar
Pulse repetition time (PRT) agile bistatic radar is hard to be detected and interfered, which is significant for the near space aircraft detection. Moreover, for the detection of the hypersonic and manoeuvring aircraft in PRT-agile bistatic radar, serious problems arise to the signal fusion, including range walk (RW), Doppler walk (DW), and scale effect. These problems would cause the fusion loss. To address these problems, we propose a multi-pulse signal coherent fusion method called non-uniform scaled generalized Radon Fourier transform (NU-SCGRFT) for hypersonic manoeuvring aircraft detection in PRT-agile bistatic radar in this article. First, considering the aircraft’s intrapulse motion and the interpulse motion, an equivalent motion model and a received signal model with scale effect are established. Then, a scale filter is derived to compensate the scale effect and a phase compensated function is constructed for signal multi-pulse coherent fusion. Finally, we analyze the fusion and detection performance of the NU-SCGRFT method through simulation experiments.
