Fuel Cell-Inverter System Design for Induction Motor Drives: A Solid Oxide Approach
This paper presents a dynamic model of a Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) for stability analysis within a power distribution system. The proposed model aims to accurately predict the SOFC's voltage output to meet the required power demands. An inverter is implemented to convert the DC output of the fuel cell into three-phase AC, suitable for various applications. As a practical demonstration, the inverter output is used to drive an induction motor, showcasing the SOFC's potential for integration in distributed generation and its effectiveness in diverse power applications. Additionally, fault analysis is implemented under different load conditions.
