DEVELOPMENT AND EVALUATION OF LIQUID CRYSTALS BASED ON MORINGA OLEIFERA OIL TO BE USED AS A COSMETIC BASE
The project aimed to develop a liquid crystal formulation containing fixed Moringaoleifera oil for skin care. The extraction process was conducted, and its antioxidantactivity was assessed. A ternary diagram was characterized using polarized lightmicroscopy. The results showed an extraction yield of 33.55% and an antioxidantcapacity exceeding 80%. Seven points with the conformation of liquid nanocrystals inhexagonal systems were identified in the ternary diagram. It is concluded that theformulation of liquid crystals with Moringa oleifera oil is an innovative and effectivemethod for drug delivery, providing enhanced skincare benefits.
