CONCEPTUAL DEVELOPMENT OF A VEHICULAR FUEL CONSUMPTION OPTIMIZATION SYSTEM
Energy efficiency in fossil fuel consumption is a challenge addressed in theUN's SDGs. In this context, the concept of a system that maximizes energy use in carswas developed. ECOSpeed it is. The concept describes an on-board system forcombustion-powered vehicles, designed to guide the driver on the ideal speed and theright time to change gears, promoting fuel economy and more efficient driving. Themethodology includes design specifications, description of the project life cycle, morphological and functional structure, product architecture and prototyping. Thisresulted in conceptual specifications and a virtual prototype generated by artificialintelligence, which still needs to be developed and tested.
