THE IMPORTANCE OF A HELIOTHERMAL SYSTEM FOR PREHEATING REPLACEMENT WATER IN BOILERS
Heliothermal systems are a strategy for preheating water for boilers, promoting energy efficiency and sustainability in the petrochemical industry. This study reviews the predictions of these systems, comparing costs, advantages and benefits compared to other steam production methods. Bibliographical research reveals that, despite challenges such as dependence on climatic conditions and high initial costs, heliothermal systems can offer significant economic and environmental advantages. The analysis highlights that, with proper implementation, these systems have the potential to improve energy efficiency when preheating water. However, challenges such as heat loss and installation cost must be overcome.
