DEVELOPMENT OF THE CONTROL MODULE OF AN AIR COOLED PEM FUEL CELL
With the increase in decarbonization initiatives around the world, newmethods have emerged for using alternative sources to power vehicles, one of whichis hydrogen. However, when new technologies are introduced, they also bring newmethods of control and operation. This paper aims to develop a printed circuit boardto integrate an air-cooled PEM fuel cell into the electrical system of a Formula SAEvehicle. By separating the activities into the collection of control variables, controlledvariables and the study of the cell's operation, it was possible to develop theelectronic schematic and the 2D and 3D models of the board, demonstrating thatelectronic projects can be carried out using a well-planned sequence of tasks.
