Getting high school students doing mathematical research
Abstract This paper explores strategies for involving high school students with an algebra background in mathematical research endeavors. Through the utilization of open problems sourced from respected academic journals, we guide students in problem-solving approaches and ultimately achieving solutions. The students are not only encouraged to submit their findings for publication but also to partake in public presentations.
