Effect of Primary Opening Auxiliary Slot and Changing Side Tooth Structure on Magnetic Resistance of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Linear Motor
This study aims to address the issue of high magnetic reluctance in permanent magnet synchronous linear motors. Based on the principle of reluctance generation, an 11-pole 12-slot permanent magnet synchronous linear motor model is established using ANSYS Maxwell finite element simulation software. The feasibility of opening symmetric auxiliary slots in the primary internal teeth and changing the structure of the primary side teeth is explored, and the influence of these changes on the reluctance is analyzed using the bi-variable parameterization method. Finally, a comparative analysis is conducted on the performance of the motor before and after opening the symmetric auxiliary slots and changing the structure of the primary side teeth. The results show that the reasonable opening of symmetric auxiliary slots and changing the structure of the primary side teeth can effectively reduce the reluctance while ensuring that the other performance of the motor remains basically unchanged.
