A delivery system for nitrosourea anticancer drug of TiSe2 monolayer from ab initio calculations
Abstract In this study, systematic ab initio calculations are performed to investigate the possibility of nitrosourea anticancer drug onto TiSe 2 monolayers as new drug delivery system. The investigation reveals three thermodynamically favorable configurations. Furthermore, the electronic properties on these new drug delivery systems are examined. The findings here highlight the potential of nitrosourea/TiSe 2 systems as promising candidates for designing new drug release system in cancer therapy.
