Status of Research on Administrative Activities and Policing by Romanian Authorities with Regard to Poland and Polish Citizens and soldiers from Mid-October 1938 till December 1939

The text reviews Polish and to a lesser extend Romanian literature and published sources concerning Romanian actions against Poles in the period mid-October 1938 to end of 1939. The works of the following authors are the most usuful for researches of this problem: Andrzej and Tadeusz Dubicki, Krzysztof Dach, Waldemar Rezmer, Wojciech Rojek, Małgorzata Willaume, and the publication of the Union of Poles in Romania. The most important documents have been published in 2013 by Institute of National Remembrance and National Archives of Romania: Polscy uchodźcy w Rumunii 1939-1947. Dokumenty z narodowych archiwów Rumunii. They are the starting point for the researches on the activities of the Romanian authorities in 1939.
