Analysis of Electromagnetic Shielding Effectiveness of Metallized Aramid Paper Honeycomb Structures
Aramid paper honeycomb with light texture and high strength is widely used in aerospace, rail transportation, and electrical motor fields. Based on the above advantages of aramid materials, this study first prepared metalized aramid paper, tested its complex dielectric constant and magnetic permeability coefficient by waveguide method, and analyzed the electromagnetic shielding performance of the honeycomb structure composed of metalized aramid paper. Then the equivalent model is employed to calculate the equivalent medium parameters of the honeycomb structure. Finally, the FDTD method is used to obtain the electric field of observation points, from which the electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of the metalized aramid paper honeycomb structure can be calculated for a typical application scenario. The results show that the metalized aramid paper honeycomb structure has a good wave-absorbing function, and its reflectivity can be reduced by up to 93.97% compared with the traditional aluminum honeycomb material.
