Design and Optimization of Broadband Composite Hydroacoustic Transducer
The broadband composite hydroacoustic transducer demonstrates significant potential for both military and civilian applications. This research focuses on the design of a broadband composite hydroacoustic transducer with concentric slots in the radiating head. The transmitting voltage response was analyzed under various excitation modes using the finite element method. Furthermore, the influence of the material and structural dimensions of the mass block, concentric groove cover plate, and radiating head on the transmitting voltage response was studied to optimize the transducer design. The operating range of the improved composite structure is from 18 to 48 kHz, with a workable bandwidth of 30 kHz and a transmitting voltage response fluctuation of ±2.8 dB.
