Detonation Decision Support System Based on Rapid Damage Effectiveness Evaluation

The quality of warhead detonation decisions determines the effectiveness of damage, and leveraging damage effectiveness evaluation results can also guide the optimization of detonation decisions. Traditional damage assessment methods either demand extensive field trials, which are costly, time-consuming, and complex, or rely on foreign third-party commercial software, making it difficult to support detonation decision optimization. This paper introduces a detonation decision support system that strikes a balance between the simulation accuracy of damage effectiveness evaluation and simulation speed. To ensure simulation accuracy, the system accurately represents object surfaces through numerous small triangular facets. To enhance simulation speed, the system employs the Raycast-Triangle algorithm to achieve efficient fragment hit detection, improving computational efficiency, and modularly integrates system components to enhance data interaction efficiency. Experimental results demonstrate that the system can deliver relatively optimal solutions for detonation decisions within certain time constraints and exhibits strong user interaction capabilities, offering scientifically reliable detonation decision-making suggestions for researchers and combat commanders.
