Two-Dimensional Spatial Spectral Estimation for Direction Finding Based on the L-Shaped Time Modulation Array
A new two-dimensional spatial spectral estimation direction finding method based on L-shaped array and time modulation theory is proposed. The main principle of this method is to generate a harmonic component of the incident signal by modulating the RF switch under the L-shaped array, recover the array manifold vector from the harmonic component using Fourier analysis, and finally use the MUSIC spatial spectrum estimation algorithm to solve the direction information from the array manifold vector, thus completing the direction finding. Nu-merical simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method, which is characterized by high accuracy compared with other 2D direction finding algorithms.
