On the Computational Analyses of Eigen Frequencies of Cavity with Loss

The FEM computational model of eigen frequencies of cavity with loss is presented. According to the computational results, the imaginary parts of frequencies appear. The imaginary parts of frequencies are necessary in the cavity with loss, which is the perturbation of eigen frequencies of the cavity without loss.

Abstract

The FEM computational model of eigen frequencies of cavity with loss is presented. According to the computational results, the imaginary parts of frequencies appear. The imaginary parts of frequencies are necessary in the cavity with loss, which is the perturbation of eigen frequencies of the cavity without loss.
