A Novel Approach for Phobia Analysis Using EEG and ECG Physiological Signals and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Phobias are anxiety disorders characterized by an excessive and persistent fear response to a specific stimulus. Accurate diagnosis of phobias is crucial for effective treatment, but current methods rely on self-reporting and clinical evaluations, which can be subjective and prone to errors. This study proposes a novel approach to phobia diagnosis that leverages electroencephalography (EEG) and electrocardiography (ECG) signals, in conjunction with Artificial intelligence (AI) Deep Learning (DL) algorithms, to provide an objective and accurate method for detecting phobias.
