User Experience Analysis on the Facility Lending Reservation Information System (SIPINTAS) Application at The Polytechnic of State Finance STAN (PKN STAN)
PKN STAN, affiliated with the Ministry of Finance, provides equitable and high-quality public finance education. To support this, PKN STAN developed the Facility Lending Reservation Information System (SIPINTAS), which allows the academic community to manage facilities like classrooms and equipment efficiently. However, the application is only accessible within PKN STAN, and users have reported difficulties in making reservations, leading to lower satisfaction. This research analyzes the UX using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ), measuring six dimensions: attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty. Data were collected an online survey targeting 100 SIPINTAS users at PKN STAN between March and June 2024 from a population of 3,882. The study reveals that SIPINTAS performs exceptionally well in attractiveness, efficiency, dependability, and stimulation, ranking in the top 10% of the benchmark. However, perspicuity and novelty were rated as satisfactory, with perspicuity 10% above and novelty 75% below the benchmark. Further testing with Figma is recommended to address these concerns, improve user flows, and enhance comprehension. User interface has been upgraded with visually appealing colors and design elements. New features like a “Find Space” button, pop-up alerts, and notifications were introduced to ensure input data compliance and provide more explicit user feedback.
