Solving Broadband Scattering Problems by the Krylov Subspace Basis Function Method
This paper presents an efficient numerical method for evaluating broadband scattering characteristics. The method is based on Krylov subspace basis functions (KSBFs) derived at the highest frequencies in the range of interest, which once generated also capture the electromagnetic characteristics at lower frequencies, these basis functions will be referred to as ultra-wideband Krylov subspace basis functions, which can be used to solve the scattering problem at any frequency point in the bandwidth without having to regenerate the KSBFs. Corresponding numerical results verify the accuracy and time efficiency of this approach.
