Study on Composite Electromagnetic Scattering from Polar Surface with Buried Target by the Method of Moments
To address the requirements for target detection, identification and imaging in polar environments, based on the digital elevation model to simulate the realistic polar surface undulation, the frozen soil mixing dielectric constant formula was chosen to calculate the dielectric constant of the medium below the polar surface, and the method of moments was applied to study the composite electromagnetic scattering between the polar surface and the buried equilateral triangular cross-section columns when the incident wave was a conical wave, and the curves of the composite scattering coefficients varied with the scattering angle were obtained, the Influences of incident angle, incident wave frequency, polar soil type and soil temperature on the composite scattering coefficient are discussed.
