Detection of Lower Extremity Anisomelia with the Developed Force Platform

In this study, the effectiveness of the developed force platform in detecting lower extremity anisomelia Is comprehensively examined. The experimental results show that the participant diagnosed with anisomelia lifted their longer leg off the ground slightly after their other leg during jumping. The data obtained revealed a time difference of 45.44 ms in jumping performance of individuals with anisomelia, while this duration was only 11.36 ms in normal participants. It is emphasized in the literature that the differences in the mobility of individuals with anisomelia may increase the challenges they could face in daily life and potentially lead to various musculoskeletal issues. These findings indicate that the force platform holds significant potential for assessing and monitoring the rehabilitation processes and performance of individuals with anisomelia. Future studies aim to enhance the reliability and effectiveness of the system through comprehensive research on different age groups and types of anisomelia. Moreover, the advantages of such methods being less invasive and more reliable present important benefits for clinical applications.
