A 3D Non-Stationary Geometry-Based mmWave Channel Model for RIS-Assisted MIMO Communications
A three-dimensional non-stationary intelligent reflecting surface (RIS)-assisted multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) channel model is proposed. The model takes into account both the movement of the scatterer in the propagation environment and the receiver. Three types of phase modulation for RIS are also considered, i.e., 1-bit, 2-bit and continuous quantization set, respectively. Based on the different phase modulation, we investigate the effect to the time-varying spatial cross-correlation function (CCF) and the time-varying temporal auto-correlation function (ACF). The numerical results provided verify the rationality and validity of the proposed model.
