Eternal Wayfinder: Al-Powered Navigation for Efficient Routing in Cemeteries

People frequently have difficulties when visiting cemeteries, such as figuring out where to go. This is the main problem, particularly if some visitors are unfamiliar with the cemetery. In order to solve this issue, the researchers created an Eternal Wayfinder: Al-Powered Navigation for Efficient Routing in Cemeteries that would assist users in locating and determining the most efficient path to the precise destination they intend to visit. Another feature in the app is that it will tell users know how many kilometers it will take to get from the entrance to the designated place. When the demo mode is on, the system will begin at the cemetery’s entrance; when it is not turned on, the system will begin at the user’s present location. In addition to the search function, the system has speech recognition, which allows users to either type the street they want to go to or simply pronounce it. The capability of the system to check for slot availability is another feature. Some people visit the cemetery to check if there are any available slots, in addition to simply visiting the tombs. The researchers used ISO 25010 standards in our assessment, emphasizing Usability, Functional Suitability, and Performance Efficiency. The results were highly favorable, with scores of 3.73 for Usability, 3.6 for Functional Suitability and 3.73 for Performance Efficiency. These findings demonstrate that the system is a reliable resource for determining the optimal path across cemeteries. By developing an Al-Powered Navigation for Cemeteries, the system attained a significant advancement in efficient routing in cemeteries.
