A Spaceborne Phased Array Antenna with High Gain Narrow Beam and Wide Coverage

Aiming at the problems of high complexity, high cost, and high power consumption in traditional multi beam phased array antenna, a spaceborne phased array antenna with the same aperture is designed to achieve both narrow beam with high antenna gain and wide coverage. The implementation scheme of this phased array antenna is relatively simple. The phased array antenna adopts a full array to form a fast and agile scanning narrow beam with high antenna gain, ensuring high transmission rate communication to key areas under the satellite. Additionally, through three sub arrays of the phased array antenna, three wide beams with relatively high antenna gain are formed, which can simultaneously increase the wide coverage of specific areas under the satellite.
