An New Leapforg-ADI-FDTD Method for Lorentzian Media
The Lorentz model is suitable for describing the dispersion properties of biological tissues and metamaterials. In order to break through the CFL condition, the existing FDTD method adopts a two-step ADI implementation scheme for the Lorentz model, and the curl equation and the constitutive relations are solved by semi-implicit scheme. In this paper, we present a Leapfrog-ADI implementation of the FDTD method to address the Lorentz model, and the constitutive relations solved by the explicit method. The numerical results underscore the feasibility and efficiency of the proposed approach.
