An Equivalent Dual-Channel Detection Method and Simulation Analysis for Radio Proximity Fuzes Based on Doppler Sharpening Technology
In order to improve the height-finding accuracy of radio proximity fuzes in complex ground environments and reduce the issue of premature detonation caused by reflections from tall buildings, this paper proposes an equivalent dual-channel detection method based on Doppler sharpening technology. This method splits a wide-beam antenna into a dual-channel detection mode with wide and narrow beams. By utilizing Doppler frequency to distinguish between building reflections and the ballistic flight speed, the method effectively prevents premature detonation due to false detection. Simulation experiments that model the process of a projectile skimming over rooftops validate the feasibility of this algorithm in avoiding premature detonation on rooftops and ensuring proper detonation upon ground impact.
