A Design of Broadband Dual-Polarization Antenna Based on Fractal Geometry
With the increassing widely application of wireless devices, the increasing number of terminals, and product upgrading, higher requirements have been concentrated on the capatity of channel and signal transmission rate of wireless communication systems Further, antenna design work attaches more requirements, which includes low profile, light weight, low cost, simp structure, and planarization. Thus, antennas with dual polarization simultaneous reception, broadband, high isolation, and other characteristics are more favored in many modern mobile and wireless broadband communication systems. In this paper, Minkowski geometry fractal structure and nested fractal geometry is selected to design a broadband antenna with slot coupling feeding, where bandwidth is improved compared with the original square ring antenna. It imposes a new trend for design and integration of large-scale highly integration antennas.
